I sailed my Pearson 31 from San Diego to El Salvador last year.
She is on the hard now, but is ready to go back in the water and go wherever you want to take her, or just be a great vacation boat right there.
Moorings are available in the area for about $150 US a month.
She is very seaworthy, performing well in light air, and holding her own in a force 7 gale. Pearson designed this boat as a hybrid racing/cruiser. I have alot of praise for the performance of this boat after four months at sea and at anchor in myriad conditions. She steers very well in a following sea, even a heavy one. She moves admirably to windward, and makes little leeway even against a stiff chop. Hove to she loses little ground even in a squall. She will make 3 knots with a spinnaker in a light air when other boats are still motoring. The forestay is a foil which allows setting two jibs side by side in a good following breeze.
She has a full compliment of serviceable sails, plus spares.

- 1 120% Genoa

- Bottom rung on the ladder also serves as an emergency outboard motor mount.
- 75 watt solar panel mounted on gallows charges house battery.
