SV-Gypsy: 1982 Newport Mark III

Gypsy is a beautiful 1982 Newport Mark III built by Captial Yachts. She was upgraded and outfitted to cruise from California to Nicaragua last year. Last October the previous owner and I hauled her out for review and painting to find the hull in almost perfect condition (only two small blisters!). I am hauling her again this month for yearly maintenance to the hull, woodwork and systems.

Since arriving to Nicaragua I’ve decided to start chartering, so I’m looking to upgrade in size and have less of a need for nice woodwork or long distance necessities. Gypsy is currently a US flagged vessel. Paperwork on existing systems and maintenance has been meticulously maintained. The attached pictures were taken last October.

Gypsy includes:

• 16 HP Universal Diesel with additional fuel filter and only 1500 engine hours (includes extra filters)
